Adorned by the shimmering water and enclosed with dense forests, Cinque island is a land of hidden treasure. Getting There
This island is on the north side of Duncan Passage, at a distance of 26 kilometres from Port Blair. At the same time, it is 3.5 hours away from Wandoor in 2 hours from Chidiya Tapu. Cinque Island is on the south-western shoreline of South Andaman in the Bay of Bengal. The two divisions of the island separate by a sandbar and are a part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park.
There is no scheduled ferry service, but Chartered boats are allowed from Port Blair and Wandoor. To avail this facility, one has to contact private boat operators in Port Blair affiliated with the Forest Department to hire a boat.

Cinque Island has coral reef gardens extending hundreds of meters into the deep sea. It offers a vista of its shells, starfish, coral reefs, seaweeds, colourful fishes, sea anemones, salt-water crocodile, turtles and water snakes to its visitors.
